Pinewood Inn | Cozy Modern Cabin with Private Hot Tub in Moonridge, Big Bear

Escape to the mountains at Pinewood Inn, a cozy, pet-friendly two-bedroom, two-bathroom gambrel-style cabin in Big Bear's central Moonridge neighborhood. This 1,044-square-foot retreat sleeps up to eight guests and welcomes up to two pets. It sits on a fenced property with a private hot tub and an inviting sun deck, and all of Big Bear's local activities are just minutes away.

Start each morning on the front or side deck with your first cup of coffee among the birds and the pines. In the evening, fire up the propane BBQ, relax on the patio furniture, and sink into your private hot tub under the stars. Inside, the open-concept entry level is perfect for gathering with family or friends. Hardwood floors, knotty pine beamed ceilings, and comfortable seating surround the native rock fireplace, a cozy spot to watch a movie on the mounted streaming TV while the snow falls outside. The kitchen features newer stainless appliances, including a dishwasher, ample counter space, and freshly painted oak cabinets stocked with cookware and utensils. A breakfast bar with stools and a log dining table provide plenty of seating for group meals. Upstairs, the king bedroom and the bunk room each have a streaming TV, and every bed is made up with warm linens, blankets, and pillows before you arrive. Two bathrooms serve the home, one on each level, and a stacked washer and dryer is handy for wet snow clothes or extended stays.

Pinewood Inn's central Moonridge location puts Big Bear's year-round attractions within easy reach. In winter, head to the slopes for skiing and snowboarding. In summer, explore the hiking and biking trails or spend the day at Big Bear Lake. Restaurants, shops, and local activities are all just minutes away. Driveway parking for two cars makes arriving easy, and the fenced yard gives your pets room to explore.
