Holloway’s is practically an institution in Big Bear, celebrating their 100th year of being in business. They own two separate marinas along the lake, Holloway’s Marina and North Shore Landing. They offer just about any service or rental you could ever want! From Holloway’s Marina, you can rent small fishing boats or large pontoon boats that accommodate up to 12 guests. You can also rent jet skis, paddleboards, or kayaks. In addition to rentals, Holloway’s offers chartered fishing expeditions, a pirate ship tour, and a lake cruise!
Pleasure Point Marina
Established in 1914, Pleasure Point Marina is the oldest continually operated marina in all of Big Bear. They offer a luxury suite of pontoon boats, three repair bays, and a full-service bait house. Pleasure Point Marina is the place to go for fishing on Big Bear Lake. They also offer rentals for kayaks, jet skis, and more!
Pine Knot Marina
Like many marinas in Big Bear, you can rent a pontoon, fishing boat, or jet ski from Pine Knot Marina. However, Pine Knot takes it one step further with their unique tour options of Big Bear Lake! Take a 90-minute cruise of Big Bear Lake on the Miss Liberty Paddlewheel Boat Tour. During the tour, you will learn about Big Bear’s rich history, see the key sites of the lake, and may even spot a celebrity! Looking for something more thrilling? They also offer parasailing tours.
Big Bear Marina
Big Bear Marina is conveniently located off of Big Bear Avenue, making it easy to get your rentals in order and begin your fun on the lake. Rent pontoon and fishing boats, jet skis, kayaks, and purchase any fishing equipment you may need all in one convenient location. If you want to enjoy water skiing or wakeboarding, an experienced skipper will man the controls while you have fun!
Captain John’s Marina
Captain John’s Marina offers many of the same rental services of the surrounding marinas. However, what sets them apart is their signature Tarzan boat. Once you see the Tarzan boat, you won’t forget it! This boat is for those who want to have all the fun they can, and features two trampolines, a diving platform, a rope swing, and a slide. The boat offers a 30-person capacity and is available to rent for $25 per person, per hour. Not a bad price for a once in a lifetime lake experience!
