Amanda and Angela Engle joined forces to create one of the best Big Bear Lake CA restaurants for lunch. They offer a wide range of delicious, fresh sandwiches and homemade breads. Amangela’s serves breakfast and lunch, so come here early to get your day started off right. Grab a cappuccino or a fresh fruit smoothie to go with one of their specialty sandwiches made on homemade bread. Their Boars Head meats are sure to satisfy the carnivore in you, but they also offer vegetarian selections. Amangela’s has a patio out front, along with free Wi-Fi to enjoy.
Teddy Bear Restaurant
The Teddy Bear Restaurant was established in 1944 and has been a favorite in the community ever since. They specialize in homestyle cooking, happily preparing you meals with the same recipes that have been passed down from the original owners. Customers in love with this Big Bear Lake restaurants have been known to drive all the way up the hill the Teddy Bear sits on just for a slice of pie. They also serve old-fashioned milkshakes and malts. One of their relatively new menu items is the homemade chicken and turkey pot pies. Teddy Bear is unique because many of their items are named after the customers that ordered them regularly for personal meals.
