Delicious Italian Eats at Sweet Basil Bistro in Big Bear
Nestled in The Village, Sweet Basil Bistro in Big Bear is known for its rustic Italian menu and its warm, intimate dining atmosphere where you and your guests can’t help but feel like you’re dining with family.
On the menu, there are antipasti, soup, salads, paninis, pasta, dinner entrées, kids’ dishes, and desserts to satiate your stomach. The restaurant is well-known for their desserts, especially.
Whet your appetite with antipasto, sizzling garlic shrimp, deep fried mushroom ravioli, flatbread Caprese pizza, or sautéed crab cakes.
Keep things light with a refreshing salad, topped with ingredients like roasted beets, goat cheese, pine nuts, gorgonzola, quinoa, feta cheese, kalamata olives, burrata cheese, smoked salmon, bleu cheese, spiced pecans, a variety of vinaigrettes, and more.
Paninis served on ciabatta or baguettes come topped with roast beef and melted gruyere cheese, black forest ham, grilled chicken breast, grilled Portobello mushroom, garlic aioli, mozzarella, parmesan, Italian sausage, pesto aioli, and other gourmet toppings.
Pastas include a range of familiar favorites done well, including linguine, ricotta cheese ravioli, and shell pasta stuffed with ricotta. Add your choice of sauce and meat for a number of variations, from creamy basil pesto to Bolognese meat sauce with ground beef and Italian sausage.
