St. Paddy’s Day Pre-Party
One of the local favorite watering holes is Wyatt’s Grill and Saloon, and they host a kick-off party for St. Patrick’s Day that has activities for children and adults alike. This local grill has special holiday-themed events like cabbage bowling, an indoor bounce house, arts and craft stations, and other various contests to get you in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit. It also wouldn’t be a proper St. Patrick’s Day celebration without green beer on tap for the adults. Admission for this amazing pre-party is only $5 dollars for adults and kids fourteen and under get in for free. They do have reservations available if you are looking to make sure you get a table when you go.
Big Bear Skiing
While you may not think that skiing in the spring is an ideal time, Big Bear ski season is still very much going strong. The temperatures around St. Patrick’s Day are just starting to rise for the season, so you can actually enjoy fresh snow on the ground from the low night temperatures while enjoying very moderate temperatures during the day. This is one of the most ideal times to ski at Big Bear!
