Teddy Bear Restaurant
Do not let the name fool you. Teddy Bear Restaurant is a delicious eatery that specializes in all of your favorite American comfort food. Start your day off with a giant plate of breakfast comfort food such as pancakes, French toast, eggs, and more. Fresh pots of coffee are always waiting for you. For lunch and dinner, the menu expands even further for big portions of burgers, sandwiches, and a few classic entrees. Don’t forget to grab a slice of Teddy Bear Restaurant’s signature pies while you visit. This restaurant can be found at 583 Pine Knot Ave and is open daily from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Oakside
Another local favorite is the rustic Oakside restaurant here in Big Bear. This casual restaurant features indoor and outdoor seating. Oakside also specializes in classic American cuisine with big portions. Local favorites include the mac ‘n’ cheese, burgers, and more. Oaksie is a popular late-night destination too with their full-service bar. Grab your favorite cocktail or order a craft brew from one of Southern California’s breweries. Captain’s Anchorage Restaurant and Bar
Grab a delicious cut of steak or a bowl of chowder from local favorite Captain Anchorage’s Restaurant and Bar. This restaurant is designed like a 1947 lodge and features a delicious selection of seafood. The salad bar offers plenty of leafy greens for you to pick from too. Captain Anchorage’s is located at 42148 Moonridge Way and is open daily from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM and until 9:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.
